Golitha Falls: A Film and Album from Trace Imprint.

Where we stand flowers will grow again. We can cross the bridge to where the other animals wait for us.

Golitha Falls is the soundtrack of a walk out with Wiley, the Dog, across the Bridge and into the landscape of Draynes Wood.

From its source at the foot of Brown Willy, the highest peak in Cornwall, the River Fowey flows through a sacred land scape. Reaching the South East edge of Bodmin Moor, the river flows through a steep sided gorge over a series of waterfalls.

From 1844 to 1855 Golitha Falls was the site of Wheal Victoria copper mine. Though the industry was short, the fabric, the industrial architecture remains whilst fading in to the procession of woodland. Systems built on boundaries that are no longer relevant

Golitha Falls is a landscape of recovery and successional transition. A place of memory and future.

Golitha Falls is now a National Nature reserve and home to a developing diverse fauna and flora

A truly private multimedia release based on two years of wandering and engaging with the area of Cornwall comprised of Draynes Woods and valley known as Golitha Falls. Carl Yung, William Blake, Edward Thomas & David Attenborough/Bellamy all combined for a new take on natural history and our place within it. Here and Now . Scrobble on .
